BNP's Aaman, Nazim detained

Political opposition BNP claims that law enforcers have detained their leaders Aman Ullah Aman and Nazimuddin Alam from Dhaka city.

Political opposition BNP this evening claimed that law enforcers detained their leaders Aman Ullah Aman and Nazimuddin Alam from Dhaka city.

Aman, a vice chairman of BNP, and Alam, a member of party's executive committee, were picked up around 9:20pm, Shamsuddin Didar, a staff of BNP chairperson media wing told The Daily Star.

Alam was said to have been holding a meeting with Aman at his residence at Mohakhali DOHS.

Rapid Action Battalion, later on this evening, floated a text message to the media confirming of the arrests made.
