Don’t cancel nomination papers for silly mistakes: EC

Election Commission (EC) has asked the returning officers not to cancel nomination papers of aspirants seeking to contest in the 11th general election if there is any silly mistake in the documents.  

The EC sent the orders to the returning officers today, our correspondent reports quoting EC sources.

The order also asked the returning officers to help aspirants correct the small mistakes in the forms if found at the time of submission.
