Ershad admitted to Rangpur CMH

Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad was admitted to Rangpur Combined Military Hospital (CMH) last night with gastric problems, reports Bangla daily Prothom Alo.

After he fell sick during a rally in Rangpur city, Ershad was rushed to the district’s CMH around 9:00pm, the daily reports quoting SM Yasir, general secretary of the JP’s Rangpur city unit. 

Ershad is still undergoing treatment at the hospital as he needs more rest, the JP leader said quoting doctors.

The JP chief went to Rangpur for taking part in the city corporation election campaign.
