Missing Salahuddin Ahmed’s wife says she will formally appeal to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina tomorrow seeking her initiatives in tracing the BNP leader.
“I have already prepared a draft of the application. I will send it to the prime minister tomorrow,” Hasina Ahmed told The Daily Star this evening.
Hasina Ahmed, also a former lawmaker, however did not elaborate on how the letter will be sent to the premier.
The family alleges law enforcers in plainclothes picked up the BNP joint secretary general from a house at the capital’s Uttara on March 10, an allegation denied by the law enforcement agencies.
