BEING A RESPONSIBLE FAN

The cricket craze has peaked and some fans are taking their passion for the teams they support to popular social media like Twitter and Facebook. Some are taking to reddit to showcase the love they have for their teams. However, a lot of the passion gets fuelled into hatred which ultimately portrays the entire fanbase in a bad colour. We all are extremely jubilant when our team is the victor and we all dwell in sadness when we lose. In these times when our emotions hit the peak, it is important to stay humble and graceful. Banter is always welcome in sports but we should not resort to extremities; there is always a limit that we should do our best to not cross. Let's be the bigger men and women. Our boys will talk with their actions on the pitch. And we'll be there to cheer them on.
