The Facebook Socialites

The status update box brought us a truckload of opportunities that was absent before. Now your opinion could be spread throughout the globe in only a few hours. What Zuck didn't consider was exactly how toxic people's opinions could be. Burger King opened in town and a bunch of people flocked there, forming a queue. That suddenly became social suicide. Status update after status update mocked those whose only crime was to be excited about an international chain coming to Bangladesh. Mind you, the ones complaining are the same people who whine about Bangladesh not having things that are abroad. It's a vicious cycle on Facebook that has bred a generation of idiots who think criticising other people's actions is the only way to appear smart. No, you'll probably live the rest of your life alone with 18 deaf cats.
