HEAR, HERE

Here's a little something for you. Try listening to everything that makes sound around you. The point of this game? Zilch. Nevertheless, you seem like a person with a lot of time to waste. Let's play.

First up, the monotonous hum of the air conditioner over my head. Second, the clicking of mouse buttons from nearby cubicles coupled with sporadic typing. A zombie-like yawn from my bored colleague. Tired footsteps dragging along the tiled floor. Muffled conversations from the other end of the room, complemented by irritable laughter tracks. Helicopters flying over the building and (unnecessary) honking of cars below. Hammers hammering, chairs creaking, stomachs grumbling; life is such a badass orchestra conductor, no?

And then a cellphone rings to a cringeworthy Bollywood tune. Your turn.
