Honk. Please. NO.

This time last year, I visited the beautiful city of Kunming, in China. While the “City of Eternal Spring” is almost 25 times bigger than the entire Dhaka district in size, its population is only one-sixth of ours. Talk about differences.
During the trip, I counted the number of times I heard a car horn: 3 in 14 days in and around the city. The day I returned to Dhaka, my ears had already been exposed to over 10 (different types of) honks and that too before I had gotten hold of my luggage.
One might laugh away thinking it's just a thing we do and be okay with it. Don't. Realise that our attitude has a lot to do with how we contribute to the city. If you are proud knowing that we're a tolerant nation, know that most of it are for the wrong reasons.
