Ode to Blanket Season

February is nice. Minus the sudden outbreak of yellow [nothing to do with jaundice, fortunately] on a certain day and the vehement need to be with someone [or aggressively defending being alone] on another, it's a good month. Eventful too. During this month, we celebrate our love for our mother language and as part of that commemoration, the most popular literary festival in Bangladesh is held in the heart of Dhaka. The weather is pleasant too. Perspiration season is yet to arrive and blanket season is leaving. Typing the latter part of that sentence just made me sad. I'll need a minute…
