Series Finale

This week we're ending the first series we've run on Fable Factory.

Tabula Rasa had been envisioned, and the first episode drafted, around the time of SHOUT's birth. At the time we didn't really know what the new publication would be like, or what the promised dedicated fiction section would actually entail. In uncertain climate, a round thousand words devoted to this weird little story about some guy getting his brain formatted didn't really seem like something we could really work with. Moreover, there just weren't enough of us to really write anything episodic together.

Times have changed. Fable Factory now has more than enough space and interested writers to carry off any series we set our minds to. And so we have Tabula Rasa – what began as the story of Paul Wickens, but eventually became about someone else altogether.
