“Gone Girl” is my favourite romcom. Man meets female woman. Man falls in love with female woman. Man marries female woman and they live happily ever after for a few years. Female woman goes missing; man becomes prime suspect. Female woman returns and forces man to live happily ever after. A story as old as time.
