Fergie bashed for “Worst Rendition Ever” of the US National Anthem

During the 2018 NBA All-Star Game held last Sunday, Fergie received harsh criticism from listeners in both US and abroad for her personal spin to the US National Anthem, The Star-Spangled Banner. Social media exploded in rage upon hearing Fergie attempting a “sexy touch” to the beloved anthem, a move that no one seemed to have appreciated. This lead many to wonder how a 8-time Grammy Award winner could disregard her own country's national anthem to the point of butchering its meaning and value, which was not at all expected from Fergie.
