In yet another honour for Bangladesh cinema, Abu Shahed Emon directed Jalaler Golpo wins the Grand Prix - Silver Akbuzat Best Film at the Third International Festival of National and Ethnic Cinema in the Russian city of Ufa.
In yet another honour for Bangladesh cinema, Abu Shahed Emon directed Jalaler Golpo won the Grand Prix - Silver Akbuzat Best Film at the Third International Festival of National and Ethnic Cinema in the Russian city of Ufa on Friday.
Emon received the award at the closing ceremony on Friday evening attended by over one thousand people, reports our correspondent from New Delhi.
The film earlier secured awards at a number of international festivals, including India and Portugal.
