Media Cup Cricket starts today

Summit-DRU Media Cup Cricket Tournament gets underway at the Maulana Bhasani Hockey Stadium in Dhaka today with 48 media houses taking part.

The tournament will be inaugurated at 10:00am by the State Minister for Labour and Employment, Mujibul Haque Chunnu, where former cricketers including Rakibul Hasan will be present.

The champion team will receive Tk 50,000, the runners-up team will get Tk 30,000 while there will also be monetary awards for the two losing semifinalists.

The information was disclosed at a press conference at the Dhaka Reporters Unity headquarters yesterday.
