Pakistan cricketer dies after injury from bouncer

Tragedy hits Pakistan cricket as young cricketer Zubair Ahmed died after being hit by a bouncer during a match at Mardan on 14th August, on Pakistan’s Independence day.
Media reports that the first class cricketer was part of the Fakhar Zaman Academy and had played four List A matches and represented the team Quetta bears in T20 format.
The news was confirmed by Pakistan Cricket board’s (PCB) official twitter.
The tweet read: “Tragic death of Zubair Ahmed is another reminder that safety gear i.e. helmet must be worn at all times. Our sympathies with Zubair's family.”

Former Autralia player and head coach of Islamabad United Dean Jones shared sadness ath the news.
He tweeted: "Its so sad to hear.. Young Cricketer Zubair died in Mardan after Cricket ball hit on head during Cricket match. Condolences to his family."
