Play abandoned for second day as well
For the second successive day, play has been called off with the toss for the second Test match between Bangladesh and New Zealand at Wellington yet to take place due to further rain which continued on from yesterday.

The decision to abandon play came at 4:30 pm local time. Earlier the signs were bright when the covers came off at 3:45 pm New Zealand time (8:45 am BDT) but as the rain returned, the umpires left the field after the inspection at 3:45. The players were warming up although the outfield was still pretty wet.
