Rain stops play after 4.3 overs

Rain has stopped play in the first ODI between Bangladesh and New Zealand at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Thursday.

Only 27 ball could be bowled before the cover had to be brought on.

New Zealand openers Will Young and Finn Allen managed to score nine runs for the Blackcaps before the stoppage.

Earlier, Bangladesh skipper Liton Das won the toss and decided to bowl first.
