Rangpur Riders fined for slow over-rate

Rangpur Riders have been fined for slow over-rate during their match against the Dhaka Dynamites yesterday.

The Riders won a thrilling encounter against the Dynamites courtesy of some fine death over bowling by Thisara Perera, Lasith Malinga and skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza. Rangpur were found to be two overs short of the mark when they exceeded the time limit set for the 20 overs.

The captain, Mashrafe has been fined 40 percent of his match fee while the other players received 20 percent fines. Match Refree Samiur Rahman imposed the fine on the Rangpur Riders.
