5 Players share lead

Five players shared the lead in Category A of the Saif PowerTec 2nd International Rating Chess Tournament at the close of the sixth round at the Bangladesh Chess Federation hall room yesterday.

They are GM Ziaur Rahman, GM Mollah Abdullah Al Rakib, GM Enamul Hossain Razib, IM Mohammad Minhaz Uddin and WIM Shamima Akter Liza, having secured 4.5 points each from six matches.

WIM Rani Hamid and Feroz Ahmed jointly shared the top spot in Category B with maximum six points from as many matches.
