Holders Bangladesh and previous edition’s runners-up Kenya moved into the final of the second Bangabandhu Cup International Kabaddi tournament after defeating their respective rivals in the semifinals at Shaheed Noor Hossain Volleyball Stadium today.

Bangladesh handed a 55-36 defeat to Iraq in the second semifinal to set up a final against Kenya, who beat Sri Lanka 49-29 in the first semifinal.

From the beginning, Iraq gave Bangladesh a run for their money as the two sides were tied at 10-10 points at one stage of the game. However, an experienced Bangladesh staged a fightback as they prevailed eventually.
