Bangladesh rope in Iranian rifle shooting coach

Bangladesh Shooting Sports Federation has appointed Iranian rifle shooting coach Mohammad Zaer Rezaei as its coach for the next three years.

The Iranian, who arrived in Dhaka on January 1, was shown around the national shooting range in Gulshan today where he also got to meet his new students.

According to a press release from the federation, the Iranian coach who guided his national team to 39 international medals and two Olympic quota places, will coach Bangladeshi rifle shooters till the Paris Olympics in 2024.

Bangladesh's Abdullahel Baki had won a silver medal in the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Australia under Danish coach Klavs Christensen, who left later that year after owing to financial constraints of game's local governing body.
