Hosaf Open tees off

The First Hosaf Open, a professional golf tournament, got underway at the Savar Golf Club (SGC) on Sunday. A total of 79 golfers including 15 amateurs are taking part in the four-day event, according to speakers at a press conference held at the SGC yesterday.

This is the first professional golf tournament held at the SGC, situated on the outskirts of the capital, informed the speakers.

SGC vice-president, brigadier general ATM Anisuzzaman, addressed the press conference where group captain Lokman Farrukh, was among others, present.
