Nafisha, Ali bring Bangladesh second bronze

Having already bagged the bronze medal for Bangladesh in women's 10m Air Rifle event, Nafisha Tabasum this time paired with Mohammad Ali to secure another bronze medal in the10m Air Rifle Mixed team event of the ISSF Grand Prix tournament in Indonesia's capital Jakarta today.

Both Bangladeshi teams -- the Nafisha-Ali pair and the duo of Syeda Atkia Hasan and Rabbi Hasan Munna -- first qualified for the semifinals of 10m Air Rifle Mixed event and were in the same group of semifinalists. 

Nafisha and Ali narrowly missed out on playing the final as they finished second with a score of 47, just 1.5 less than the team from Singapore. 

Nafisha and Ali became third to ensure the second bronze medal while Atkia and Munna made a score of 38.5 to finish overall sixth among eight pairs of semifinalists.
