Navy, Sheikh Russel still inseparable

Defending champions Bangladesh Navy and newcomers Sheikh Russel Memorial Sporting Club maintained their lead at the end of the eighth round of the Walton Premier Division Chess League, which is being held at the National Sports Council Lounge.

Both Navy and Sheikh Russel have 13 points from seven matches and the title will be decided today in the final round. Navy beat Sultana Kamal Smrity Pathagar 4-0 while Sheikh Russel beat Bangladesh Navy junior team 3.5-0.5.
