Shooter Nafisha brings bronze for Bangladesh at ISSF Grand Prix

Nafisha Tabasum bagged the bronze medal for Bangladesh in women's 10m Air Rifle event of the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Grand Prix tournament in Indonesia's capital Jakarta today.

Nafisha and Sajida Haque had earlier qualified for the semi-finals and Nafisha advanced to the four-shooter final after finishing second in the first semi-final while Sajida was eliminated by finishing fourth in the second semi-final. 

Later, Nafisha finished third in the final after scoring 37 as the top two shooters progressed into the gold medal match. 

Meanwhile, Shovon Chowdhury and Rabbi Hasan Munna had been eliminated from the semi-finals in the men's 10m Air Rifle event earlier in the morning.
