Bangladesh's Siddikur Rahman featured alongside USA's World Number One Jordan Spieth at the SMBC Singapore Open which began yesterday. Although Siddikur was far from his best he finished with an even-par score in day that was suspended due to the threat of lightning.

And although his more illustrious counterpart finished with a score of under-5, he couldn't claim the top spot. That spot was shared by South African Keith Horne and  Spieth's countryman Berry Henson at the picturesque Sentosa Golf Club.

Spieth was playing course for the first time, but that seemingly didn't cause his any trouble, as he had a bogey-free outing, carding four birdies. Korean Byeonghun An, the rookie of the year, shared the spot with Spieth.

Siddikur twice hit birdies and followed them up with bogeys in the US One million dollar event. However, he still has a chance of making it up the ladder, being just 5 shots off the top.
