Bangladesh's premier golfer Siddikur Rahman raced to the third position at the end of the penultimate round of the Queen's Cup in Thailand yesterday. The two-time Asian Tour winner carded four-under (67) for an aggregate of seven-under (206), which put him four shots behind leader Akinori Tani (203) of Japan. Overnight leader Prayad Marksaeng of Thailand slipped to second with eight-under (208).

Siddikur traded six birdies for two bogeys at the Santaburi Samui Country Club yesterday to move from overnight ninth position to third.

"I am still on the road to recovery from my back injury so I don't want to play with any expectations. I will be happy if I can cap another top-10 finish this year," Siddikur told Asiantour.com.
