Siddikur's team finish third

Siddikur Rahman-led Dev Ellora Pune team finished third among seven teams in the Louis Philippe Cup, which concluded in Bengaluru yesterday. The Bangladesh golfer  finished last among 21 golfers with an aggregate individual score of nine-over (225), but  thanks to his two Indian teammates -- Sanjay Kumar and Om Prakash Chouhan -- the Kapil Dev owned side managed to post 11-under (421).

The title was snatched by Mithun Perera-led Navaratna Ahmedabad team for their third time in four editions.

Siddikur will take part in the Queen's Cup in Thailand next week where Jamal Hossain Mollah and Shakhawat Hossain Sohel are also expected to participate.
