Zia in third position

Grandmaster Ziaur Rahman shared the third position along with other 10 players after collecting five points at the end of the seventh round of the 8th Mumbai Mayor's Cup International Open Chess Tournament in Mumbai, India yesterday, said a press release from Bangladesh Chess Federation. GM Abdullah Al Rakib and GM Enamul Hossain Razib earned 4.5 points each while Kazi Mahbub Afzal and Abul Kashem earned 2 points each. In the seventh round, Zia lost against GM R R Laxman of India.
