India in both finals

Fourth seed Rishabh Sharda of India and Chan Woo Park of South Korea reached the boys singles finals of the Walton 30th Bangladesh ITF Junior Tennis Championship yesterday.

In the semifinals, Rishabh eliminated his compatriot and tournament's second seed Mritunjay Badola in 7-6, 6-3 games while Chan Woo Park defeated another Indian player Sacchitt Sharma in 6-3, 2-6, 6-3 games at the Ramna National Tennis Complex.

In the girls' final, India's Tanisha Kashyap will take on Jingyi Wang of China. Tanisha beat compatriot Muskan Gupta 6-2, 6-4 while Wang beat her compatriot Xiaowei Hu 6-2, 6-1 to set up the final.

Both the singles finals as well as the doubles and mixed doubles finals will take place today.
