100 cagers to get financial help

Bangladesh Basketball Federation decided to help promising100 cagers across the country financially to mitigate the hardship caused due to the coronavirus pandemic, said a press release today.

"Despite having the financial constraint, the federation has decided to give tk 3000 to each of the 100 less fortunate 100 cagers who have been facing financial crisis in coronavirus pandemic," stated the press release adding that most of the promising cagers from different districts will be aided financially.

Meanwhile, some federations like cricket, hockey, tennis, badminton and athletics helped their respective players while youth and sports ministry provided Tk 10,000 each to around 1000 athletes including 10 cagers.
