Akbar sparkles in HP practice match

A century in a practice game may not amount to much but it still must have meant a lot to Akbar Ali, who had been struggling for runs in the recently-concluded BCB President’s Cup. The Under-19 World Cup-winning skipper, who had scores of 1 and 2 during the 50-over tournament last month, scored a 161-ball 136 on Day 1 of the intra HP-squad two-dayer at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur yesterday.
