Ansar win women's doubles title

Bangladesh Ansar & VDP clinched women's doubles title in the 37th National Table Tennis Championship beating Bangladesh Biman in the final at the Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Indoor Gymnasium yesterday.

Sonam Sultana Soma and Sadia Rahman Mou of Ansar beat Saleha-Akhi pair of Bangladesh Biman in 3-1 sets in the final.

Bangladesh Ansar however lost to Bangladesh Army in the final of men's doubles. Javed-Hridoy pair of Ansar lost in 3-2 sets against Hasibul-Rocky pair of Army.

Bangladesh Ansar & VDP had earlier won both the women's and men's team events beating Bangladesh Army.
