Asian U-14 Tennis from tomorrow

The Bengal Plastic Asian Under-14 Tennis Series Championship will begin at the Ramna National Tennis Complex in the capital tomorrow.

A total of 37 players including 15 girls from Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, Korea, Philippines and the USA will take part in the five-day event.

Out of those 37 budding players, 25 are from Bangladesh. Leston Vaz of India is the top seed in the boys' group while Sun Min Ha of Korea is the top seed in the girls' group.

All this information was provided during a press conference at the Bangladesh Tennis Federation headquarters yesterday.
