Bangladesh archers bag two silvers and one bronze

Bangladeshi archers bagged two silver medals and one bronze medal in Asian Cup Stage-1 which ended in Gwangju, South Korea today.
On the final day of the five-day-long tournament, Bangladesh's Sheikh Sajib and Pushpita Jaman won a silver medal after losing 146-155 to Korean Kim Jongho and So Chaewon in the final of the compound mixed team event.
Men's compound team comprising Sajib, Himu Bachar and Mohammad Asif Mahmud also had to stay content with a silver medal as they lost 205-235 to their Korean counterparts featuring CHOI Yonghee, KANG Donghyeon and KIM Jongho in the final.
However, only Bangladesh and Korea directly participated in the finals of both events.
In the mixed recurve team event, Prodipta Chakma and Rajani Akter won a bronze medal after losing to Japan 0-6 in the semifinals.
