Hansi Flick, who will leave his position as Bayern Munich's manager at the end of the season, is reportedly set to reject an offer to coach Germany's national team and instead head to Barcelona, RAC1 reported yesterday. Flick taking over Germany's national team was seen as a natural progression after he coached Bayern to a sextet in the past season. This season, he has also wrapped up the Bundesliga, but fell short in the Champions League. RAC1 reported that Barcelona president Joan Laporta telephoned Flick and asked him to assess Barcelona's offer before making any decision about his future. The decision may not prove popular at the club though, with some fond of current coach Ronald Koeman and others waiting for the arrival of Xavi.
