BBPL opening ceremony kicks off

The skies of Mirpur are engulfed by upbeat melodies and dazzling lights as the opening cermony of the Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League begins at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina declared the tournament open.

Bangladesh singer James lit up the stage with his performances and will be followed by Mumtaz before the first part, featuring local artists, concludes. The second part will be handled by entertainers from Bollywood, featuring the likes of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif.
