The men in red and green, who started the 12-team tournament with a devastating 52-0 points defeat against hosts Singapore in their opening match, gave Pakistan and Brunei a run for their money in the next two matches.
Despite leading by 14-07 points against Brunei in the first half, Bangladesh eventually lost the game 26-21, according to information provided by the Bangladesh Rugby Federation.
The match against Pakistan proved to be another close contest, but Bangladesh eventually lost by 17-12 points.
