BGB retain handball title

Boarder Guard Bangladesh retained the title of National Handball Championship with a 31-17 goal win against Bangladesh Police Handball Club in the final at the Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium yesterday.

It was the ninth successive title for BGB, who dominated over Bangladesh Police in the first half with a 20-7 goal lead.  Police came back strongly in the second half but their effort was not good enough as they had to be content with 15th consecutive runners-up trophy.
