Heavy defeat for hockey team
The Bangladesh national hockey team suffered a devastating 6-0 defeat to their South Korean counterparts in their third practice match in South Korea yesterday.
Bangladesh, who are touring South Korea as a part of their preparations for the upcoming Asian Games, were unable to stop the waves of Korean attacks as the home side earned 17 penalty corners, converting six of those to notch up an easy victory. Bangladesh scored a couple of goals in each of the first two matches but they failed to find the target yesterday.
Bangladesh lost the first two matches 3-2 and 5-2 to the same opposition and are scheduled to play two more matches, one today and the other tomorrow.
