Max-BSPA Sports Journalist Awards 2021 held

Sadman Sakib was named the sports journalist of the year in the ‘Max-BSPA Journalist Award 2021’ at a city hotel today.

Channel 24's senior reporter won the award for filing reports on online betting, online match-fixing and manipulation in the country's footballing arena.

Rahenur Islam of Kaler Kantha was adjudged the first runner-up while Arafat Jubaear was the second runner-up.

Sadman also won awards in three further categories for best exclusive report, best series report and best interview report.

The Bangladesh Sports Press Association in association with Max Group has been organising the sports journalist award since 2015.

17 total journalists were awarded in eight categories.

Sadman Sakib (Champion), Samiur Rahman (1st Runner-up) and Rahenur Islam (2nd Runner-up).

Best Series Report 
Sadman Sakib (Champion), Arafat Jubaer (1st Runner-up) and Tofael Ahmed (2nd Runner-up).

Best Interview Report (Print) 
Rahenur Islam (Champion), Tarek Mahmud (1st Runner-up) and Arafat Jubaer (2nd Runner-up). 

Best Interview Report (Television) 
Sadman Sakib (Champion), Faisal Mohammad Titumir (1st Runner-up) and Barshon Kabir (2nd Runner-up).

Best Feature Report (Print) 
Masud Alam (Champion) Bodiujjaman Milon (1st Runner-up) and Rashedul Islam (2nd Runner-up).

Best Feature Report (Television)
Farhana Afsana Kanta (Champion), AKM Faizul Islam (1st runner-up) and SM Ashraful Islam (2nd runner-up). 

Best Photographer
