Nat’l women’s rugby begins

The fourth edition of the National Women’s Rugby Competition, organised by Bangladesh Rugby Federation [Union], began at the Paltan Maidan yesterday.

16 district teams from across the country, featuring 192 players, are taking part in the three-day tournament.

The participating districts are: Norail, Jamalpur, Kishoreganj, Rajshahi, Thakurgaon, Chattogram, Narayanganj, Barguna, Rangpur, Joypurhat, Dhaka, Dinajpur, Habiganj, Faridpur, Tangail and Bagerhat.
