No backup for Haaland

Borussia Dortmund will not sign a backup for main striker Erling Haaland, sports director Michael Zorc said, pointing to a record goal haul in the league last season as proof of their strength in attack.

The 20-year-old joined managed 13 goals, contributing to a club record of 84, as Dortmund finished in second place.

"We did not score few goals last season," Zorc told Kicker magazine on Thursday.

The club would need to act, however, should Sancho, whose contract runs until 2022, leave now.
