The premier recurve archer of the country beat Oona Mart of Estonia by 6-0 set points in the 1/24 round to advance into the 1/16 round, where lost against Brady Ellison of the United States by 6-2 set points.

In women's recurve individual round, Beauty Roy and Dia Siddiqui lost against their Turkish and Russian opponents respectively in the 1/24 round. In men's individual compound event, national champion Asim Kumar Das lost by 146-134 points against his Iranian counterpart in the 1/24 round.

Earlier on Tuesday, Ruman had got a bye in his first round match while his teammates Tamimul Islam, Ram Krishna Saha and Hakim Ahmed Rubel lost their respective first-round matches to be eliminated.
