Sk Russel move up to third spot

Sheikh Russel KC ended Mohammedan's mini-resurgence in the Bangladesh Premier League with a 2-1 win at Mohammedan's home venue in Cumilla yesterday.

Following a barren first half, Kenneth Ikechukwu gave the visitors a 51st-minute lead before Sunday Emmanuel equalised for the Black and Whites 16 minutes later. However, Mfon Udoh's 78th minute strike ensured the last laugh for the visitors.
Meanwhile, Rahmatganj MFS registered a 3-2 win away to Azampur FC in Mymensingh to keep the hosts deep in the sole relegation position. Following the victory, Rahmatganj are in ninth position with 13 points from 14 matches while Azampur FC have three points from 13 outings.
