Tensions rise while Barcelona leadership meets

While Barcelona's board of directors were meeting at the Camp Nou, a group of fans had gathered outside to ask for the resignation of President Josep Maria Bartomeu managed to enter the venue.
The fervent chants and whistles increased to the point that a group of fans entered the venue, Marca reported. Security members were unable to stop them and the Mossos d'Esquadra – the police force of Catalonia -- had to intervene.
Shouting "Bartomeu, resignation" and "invasion, invasion", the fans entered the site, reported El Chiringuito.

Stationed outside the Camp Nou, Alejandro Segura reported for Marca that while some directors had left the meeting, Bartomeu had not been seen leaving.
The higher-ups had met to discuss Lionel Messi, after the Argentine announced his intention to leave the club. Although the club want the six-time Ballon d'Or winner to stay, the urgency of the meeting suggests they are prepared for any outcome.
Most outlets have reported Manchester City as the likeliest destination for Messi, with Brazil and Barcelona legend Rivaldo also advising him to go to England and play under Pep Guardiola again.
