The Bangladesh national volleyball team bounced back in the AVC 1st Men's Challenge Cup by handing a straight 3-0 sets defeat to UAE in their second match in Colombo yesterday.

The Bangladesh national volleyball team bounced back in the AVC 1st Men's Challenge Cup by handing a straight 3-0 sets defeat to UAE in their second match in Colombo yesterday.

Bangladesh, who started the tournament with a defeat against Iraq, started brilliantly against UAE and held their momentum till the last set. The men in red and green posted a hard-fought 25-22 point win in the first set. After that, Bangladesh gave no quarter to UAE, who lost the last two sets by 16-25 and 18-25 points respectively.

Bangladesh will play their last pool match on Monday against Mongolia, who lost both their fixtures against Iraq (0-3) and UAE (1-3).
