Kamalapur stadium takes a new look with new turf

The Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur has assumed a new look as a new synthetic turf has been laid on the second football venue of Dhaka. The work started at the venue in December last year and has neared completion. Photo: Firoz Ahmed

Although there is a slight bit of work left, the company given the responsibility has assured it will be all prepared for the first match of Senior Division League on November 15.

The final touches on the pitch are being put on the new pitch, which will feature eight sprinklers to water the surface and will have 38 pipes to drain water out so that it remains playable in all conditions. Photo: Firoz Ahmed
