NCL begins on September 15

The National Cricket League (NCL) is set to begin on 15th September.
This is the 19th edition of the cricket league and it would be played in the same format as last year, where there was a tier1 and tier 2 system.
The top four teams will play in tier 1 while the bottom four will be play in tier 2. The relegated team from tier 1 will go to tier 2 and the champion from tier 2 will be promoted to tier 1.
Chief selector Akram Khan informed that there will be five venues in this edition of the NCL – Sylhet, Cox’s Bazar, Chittagong, Khulna and Rajshahi. The league will be played in home-away format.
“We have increased the match fee. It was twenty-five thousand and now it’s thirty-five thousand. The travel allowance which was two thousand is now two-thousand five hundred.
"The daily allowance has been increased to 1500 from 1000," Akram Khan informed.
