Fast bowler Sam Curran returned figures of 5-10 to help England beat Afghanistan by five wickets in their opening match of the Twenty20 World Cup in Perth on Saturday.

Curran became the first England bowler to take five wickets in a T20I to skittle Afghanistan for 112, a total the Three Lions overhauled in 18.1 overs.
